the question is the equivalent to :
what are all the four important part of a Ferari?
Some will say only the color

the logo?
the door?
the seats?
......

you mean in single user mode? Else there are more than 4 or less than 4.

but why stop there if you want to really know, just start the system in single user mode, then do a 'ps -aef', you will get almost what is necessary for the system to run.

ps -aef |sort can give you an idea of important daemons
