HP-UX (v3) LTU's ... are these on a per CPU basis or a per core basis? Also with ICAP is this done on a per CPU or per core?
I assume that whatever the answer to the above is the same is true for other HP products you may want to use with HP-UX?
I'm guessing that it's all per CPU instead of per core but I am having difficulty finding information either way ...

Last I read them, LTU was based system by system. License To Use (A system).
If it says anything about number of CPU's it normally does not get into cores, just physical CPU's

The OS itself is licensed per core (ridiculous if you ask me, but they didn't) and I believe most add-on software is per core.
