HP official statements about support for PSP's on Xen Virtual Machines

Hi,

I have a customer who wants to know what components are supported, if any, of PSP 8.6 (or 8.3) when they are applied to a SuSE 10 or 11 Xen VM.

In this particular case he is concerned that the NIC configuration option of the HP System Management Homepage (SMH) disappears when upgrading from PSP 8.3 to PSP 8.6.
See the attached zip file for the appropriate screen shots of before and after PSP 8.6 install.

I have indicated that PSP's are relevant for a Host of VM's but not the VM's themselves.
Is there an officially stated position in a document I can show the customer.

PSP's are only relevant to the Physical Vurtualization Host. The Guests/VMs do not need them,

We're not in the habit of documenting negatives, but you can take the absence of anything other than physical ProLiant servers on the support list as meaning that we don't support the PSP inside of a VM.
