HP has announced(quoting or paraphrasing them) on a number of occaisions that the 1.5 Ghz PA-RISC series, I believe the PA-8900 series will be the last they invest in.
Now its still possible that customer demands will change this, but right now Itanium 2 is where HP is going.
If you are planning new servers, you might want to take this into account.
Still if you like PA-RISC, as I do, they'll be supported until at least 2012.
