HP9000 and Itanium servers sensor monitoring
hi all,
Looking for advice from the experts before getting the hands dirty
It looks like the HP SIM Agent is supported on both Integrity and 9000 servers (as per the doc below)
http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c04263984#N10117
I am mainly looking for monitoring the health of the servers - cpu status, fan status, disk status, temperature, etc. and, preferably to query via SNMP
Upon installing the HP SIM agent on these servers, is there any documentation on which MIBs are exposed? Is it possible to get the information above?
If it's not available via SNMP, are there any other HP recommended ways of getting the same information?
