HPUX 11.11 - NIS - make passwd hangs

When we try to change the password for a user using SAM, the "make" process is launched and it stays in memory and never ends.  We then have to kill the process and restart one properly.

 

Same when using command line ( cd /var/yp ; make passwd )  we get "Passwd updated" at screen and it never ends.
