HPUX 11i V3 Masterization
Previously, I have succesfully create a master DVD based on HPUX 11 i V2.
Following the same procedure steps , I have create a master based on HPUX 11i V3. When I try to install a system ( an RX5670 ) with my master, it starts correctly until the archive load step.
The following error message is displayed :"
WARNING : Cannot mount device "/dev/dsk/c1t2d0" on directory "/tmp/ign_configure/SD_CDROM" after 10 tries. Ensure the device is properly connected, powered on, contains the "hp client archives" CD-ROM, and is ready before continuing"
( c1t2d0 is the device file for the DVD
"hp client archives" is the name given within the configuration file for the archive)
Does someone encounter the same kind of error?
Regards

Re: HPUX 11i V3 Masterization
I guess you need an ignite version with 11.31 support, see
http://docs.hp.com/en/IUX/whatsnew.html
and
https://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/try.do?productNumber=IGNITEUXB
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: HPUX 11i V3 Masterization
More than likely the process of creating a golden image on 11.31 will need to change. Stay tuned for the changes, because I am not sure they are documented.

Re: HPUX 11i V3 Masterization
I have used two versions of IUX : C.7.02 and C.7.1. And, with theses two versions, the same errors occur.
