HPUX Crashes after Plugging in USB Keyboard

Server: BL860 Itanium Blade w/ SB40C Storage Blade - HPUX 11.23 Using VGA/USB/Serial Dongle to attach USB Devices

Hello All, This morning I was going to test some Ignite recovery stuff on my DR server and found that when I plug in my USB keyboard, HPUX Crashes and then proceeds to not boot until I remove the Keyboard. The only Recent Work I've done on this server is some patches over a month ago and some Ignite stuff. I'm fairly concerned that this is a possible issue on my production server as well. Thanks in advance,

Re: HPUX Crashes after Plugging in USB Keyboard

Check if you have the USB-00 driver, If so, please remove it:

# swremove –x auto_kernel_build=false USB-00

Then install the latest USB patch and dependencies:

PHKL_39269 - s700_800 11.23 USB 2.0, DVD write, Cumulative USB patch

The dependencies are: PHCO_37930 , PHKL_37869 and PHKL_38168
