Hi,

first message is ok, if you do not use hashed database.

second message look like you have no osf-usr licence active. Can you post lmf list?

Too many users logged on already refers to the OSF-BASE license.
Check your OSF-BASE licenses and what is the requirement of your system. Most of the time, you need one OSF-BASE license for every CPU you have in the system.
Do a
#lmf reset
and see how many licenses you have and add or modify the units according to your system

Hope this helps

thanks for the reply

finally it is because of the license problem. I moved the license and issued lmf reset now the same is working fine.

Hi,

The first message is okay, but you can avoid if you edit the passwd file with vipw.
It's going to create some hash passwd file.
