How shall I correct this disk issue?

What is the procedure for correcting the following issue:

SAM shows JA1/D7 as Good/Included and JA1/D8 as non-existent.

On the physical server, none of the two disk lights are on for JA1/D7. For JA1/D8, the right light is blinking amber and the left is solid green.

Thank you.

Re: How shall I correct this disk issue?

Sounds like a disk chassis ds2404 - is it part of a VA7xx0 or standalone?

Try to run

# armdsp -a

to get more information.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

This is a disk enclosure attached to VA7410.

The solution was to replace JA1/D8 with a new drive.
