I don't use password to login to my HPUX, instead i user RSA Private key file. Xming is not helpful for RSA authentication. As of now i can login only via Putty.

You connect only via putty, xming runs on your PC.

Start xming.
connect via putty

putty -X

I Started Xming, then i logged in via Putty. It's still de same, i dont see any change. Am i not understanding? i dont see that screen when i open Putty...

Another option:

- on your PC open an cmd window
- go to the folder that contains xming
- type "plink" to get this help screen again

plink -X user@host /path/to/firefox

You probably need to add "-i key", but why not simply start xming and start putty like you always do? Make sure Xforwarding is enabled.

I Enabled X11 Forwarding in Putty and also tried using -i key in cmd prompt...this time the error messages changed...

I get below 2 errors

1. Unable to Load /opt/firefox
2. Unable to open connection: Host does not exists.
