I got the output of;
#echo "selclass qualifier cpu;info;wait;infolog" | cstm > /tmp/cpuinfo
shows;
grep "Slot Number" /tmp/cpuinfo
Slot Number: 0 Software Capability: 0x100000f1
Slot Number: 0 Software Capability: 0x100000f1
Slot Number: 0 Software Capability: 0x100000f1
Slot Number: 0 Software Capability: 0x100000f1
I can see 4 CPU sitting on the same slot. What does this mean?

Re: How to check the Physical CPU.
if you have an Integrity server, at this time only the montecito is a dual core CPU, see
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1089669
In case of a PA-RISC system, all PA-8800 and PA-8900 CPUs are dual core.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: How to check the Physical CPU.
open sam and click on performance monitors and click on system properties if its dual core you will be getting the Active output greater than total Output.

If yes, is there a command to verify?

Re: How to check the Physical CPU.
No, those were just dual core.
