How to configure one alias using APA

Hi,

I have one server in 11.23 and with APA configured, and now I would like to add one alias to the lan900 (lan900:3), because the server has lan900:1 and lan900:2.

I have look the netconf, but is not configured there the lan900:1 and lan900:2...

Where could it be? How could I configure that?

Thanks a lot of!
Carmen.

No.

Maybe the netconf is wrong??

Re: How to configure one alias using APA

is lan900 in your /etc/rc.config.d/netconf file?

what are your ifconfig lan900, ifconfig lan900:1, & ifconfig lan900:2 outputs?

Are these vlan's or just multiple IP's on one lan?

One final thought your information could be in /etc/rc.config.d/hp_apaportconf & /etc/rc.config.d/hp_apaconf. If you want to add lan900:3 be sure to stop & start your APA software. Check the HP Auto Port Aggregation Quick Install guide for configuration commands.
