Re: How to convert agile DSF to legacy DSF and vice versa in HPUX 11.31
I tried setting the SPC2 bit for the device. But that did not help either.
"symmask -sid 072 set hba_flags on SPC2 -enable -wwn 5001438001321214 -dir 15C -p 1"
I am sure there is something wrong with symm configuration. if you notice the cmd output of "ioscan -m hwpath" ( attached file before), we can see "Legacy H/W Path" for few devices and also it contains something like "0/4/1/0.1.0.255.0.7.1", the no "255" looks incorrect.
Please advice any solution.
Thanks,
-Santosh.

Re: How to convert agile DSF to legacy DSF and vice versa in HPUX 11.31
so EMC usually have a host connectivity guide per OS. Have you got a copy of this - no doubt it lists all the requirements for running 11iv3?
Why not just ask EMC to check your configuration? They're usually pretrty good at this sort of request.
