How to copy the data from One HPUX server to another Server

Hi,
I want to copy the data from One HPUX server to another server using cross cable network connection, can any one help me to configure the network settings and the commands to copy the data.

Once you get the network working, you can use either, rcp, ftp, NFS, scp, sftp, rsync, etc to copy the files.

you can use ftp , scp , nfs , tar , fbackup and there are so many options

If your HPUX servers have no other network connections than your cross cable, you can literally use any IP addresses you want. However, it's a good practice to use IP addresses reserved specifically for private networks, as documented in RFC 1918:

The previous answers also seem to assume that your data is in the form of files in a filesystem. If your data is in a database that is stored on a "raw disk", some database-specific procedures are needed.

Hi,
After configuring networking setting u can use, scp, rcp,ftp, sftp for coppying files.
