How to delete mail that "Deferred" status from mail queue?

Dear all expertis,
Please help me. How to delete mail queues that have staus "Deferred" ,which occurred from sending missed address?

I think it is just a case of removing the corressponding files from the /var/spool/mqueue directory.

Obviously back these up somewhere before deleting.

You can also tell sendmail to resend these messages using sendmail -v -q. This will try to send all messages in the queue. See the sendmail man page for full details on each option

Just delete the files in /var/spool/mqueue
