How to find the LV

Hi Friends,

we are giving remote support to Storage devices.

i want to find the particular Logical volume and it's connected in Which LUN at storage.

Logical Volume name is lv045

Pls any one help me in advance.

Do

lvdisplay -v LV name | grep "PV Name"

lvdisplay -v /dev/vgxx/lvol45 |more

will show "connected in Which LUN at storage"

See on which phisycal volumes (PV) is located this LV:

# lvdisplay -v /dev/XXX/lvol045

You should have also output from SAN (evainfo, xpinfo) with the device mappings.

Sorry, there is mistake in first reply.

Do lvdisplay -v LV Name | more and check for the PV names for the LUNS.
