How to find two physical MAC addresses in an aggregation?

I have an aggregation being setup, and i know the MAC address for this lan900. There are two physical ports behind it. Is there anyway to find out these these two MAC addresses are?

Thanks,

Re: How to find two physical MAC addresses in an aggregation?

Never tested by myself, but I would try lanscan first.

Hope this helps!

You might check the /etc/rc.config.d/hpigelanconf file if it was configured when the APA was setup.

Or you could check /etc/lanmon to see if there is an config file and see which lans are being used. Then use lanadmin to get the MAC addresses.

Oh, in /etc/lanmon, be sure to access the ascii text file not the data file.

lanscan only give you MAC address for the aggregation link, not for physical lan cards.

in /etc/lanmon I only have the sample of the ascii file.

MAC address of a HP APA Link Aggregate is determined by the Permanent MAC addresses of the first LAN Card added to the aggregate

Hi ,

If you have configured APA on lan cards then just lanscan will not show the MAC of configured LAN cards.

lanscan -l --> suppose to give the info ,but it is saying "This option will be supported later"

you can try (hpux v3)
#nwmgr --get
