The A6795A is known as "Tachyon XL2", and was originally designed for PA-RISC systems, where the FibreChannel boot support is embedded in the system's PDC firmware. So there is nothing flashable on the card.
A rx4640 is an Itanium system, so it has EFI firmware instead of PDC. If the system's EFI firmware has no built-in boot support for Tachyon cards, this card cannot be used to boot the system from a SAN. But as long as an appropriate driver is installed, it will be perfectly usable after the OS is booted.
