How to know CPU #?

Hi there,

I want to know the number of physical cpus of of my RHEL 3 server...

Help will be very much apreciated.

hey

use the virtual filesystem /proc:
cat /proc/cpuinfo

I know you already got it, but:

grep processor /proc/cpuinfo | wc -l
