Hi

Why do you wanna run fsck?

what kind of error guide to the fsck?

which error you have found during boot?

you cannot do fsck on disk.

What happens next? Or does it stop here? What disk is the 0/0/1/1.0.0? Your only boot disk, a boot mirror or a non-boot disk?

Re: How to make fsck after reboot on cdrom

Hi,
Can your system continue normally, if so?
What is the output of?
#ioscan -funC disk

And the disk dose it belong to vg00 or not.
It seems you have a hard error on disk 0/0/1/1.0.0

Re: How to make fsck after reboot on cdrom

Don't know enough details yet, but did you try to add the cdrom to a vg by chance?

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

guess that, your boot disk is failed. Try to boot with other disk.
then watch what is happening.

I ahve try to boot on un other disk and i can access to files in single user

P0 0/0/1/0.0 extscsi.0 Sequential access media
P1 0/0/1/1.2 intscsib.2 Random access media
P2 0/0/1/1.0 intscsib.0 Random access media
P3 0/0/2/0.2 intscsia.2 Random access media
P4 0/0/2/0.0 intscsia.0 Random access media
P5 0/0/2/1.2 media.2 Random access media

First I boot on P0 and then i boot on P1.
I don't understand there is only 4 disks on my server. What is the difference between P0 and P1 ?

P0 is your tape drive. P1, P2, P3 and P4 are your hard disks and P5 is your DVD drive.

I looks to me that you have one of the boot mirrors gone bad. Take a look at this document
