How to recover a Tru64 License?

I had a hard drive fail and I had to rebuild from scratch. We are not able to find the license so I was wondering if someone could tell me how to restore the license from backup, or if that is even possible.

If you have any backups of /var, restore file /var/adm/lmf/ldb and then run "lmf reset". That will restore and reactivate all of the licenses that were on the system at the time of the backup.
