How to remove secure shell software in hpux 11.00

Gurus,

Iam getting errors while removing the ssh.
Could you pls help me?

The removal process ended with out errors.
But still swlist is showing that the software still exists!

I normally use SAM to run swremove, so I know
nothing, but ...

not be amazed that the stuff is still
installed.

Did you look?

man swremove

Look for "EXTERNAL INFLUENCES". Many things
are possible.

Personally, I'd still use SAM, but in any
case, you may need to look at the log file to
see what happened, and why.

What is the output of the swagent.log?
You could also check for process sshd and I suggest to restart the swagentd with swagentd -r.

I need to remove using swremove option only.Its just for test environment.

I don't see any -p (preview) option. What's in /.sw/sessions/swremove.last?

Was it aborted? Have you looked at the swagentd.log?
