How to remove system from ruptime -l results?

HP-UX 11.31 systems.

When running a # ruptime -l it's returning a system as down that has been decommissioned.  How can I remove this system from being included in the results?

Check the directory /var/spool/rwho.  See if there is a 'whod.*' file for the server that is gone.  If so, remove the file.

I did see that file and rather than remove it I renamed it to whod.<server>.old and it stll showed up.  Moving it completely out of the directory removed  the offending ruptime results. Thanks!
