Hi,
It seems very strange, you have activate vgtest and you see nothing? Could you give the output of vgdisplay?
Do you have a file /etc/lvm/backup/vgtest?

Re: How to restore LVM when reinstall a linux system using mondorescue

I have solve this problem by running
vgcfgrestore -vvy command. For details pls check the attached log.

Note: After re installation i have found UUID for PV(/dev/hda3...) was changed so i use
"pvscan -u" command to find current UUID for /dev/hda. Then modify the file vg0000#.vg under
/etc/lvm/archive directory.Then run vgcfgrestore command.

Thanks
