How to restrict the access of samba share to particular user?

Hi All,

Is it possible to estrict the access of samba share to particular user?

I know that we can do this through valid users option in smb.conf...So if we configured valid users option, then the rest of the users not mentioned in valid users option can not access that same share, am I correct?

Can we do this through sudo?
