Hp tools removal from the server

Hi friends,

I need to remove Hp tools (PSP) from the server for some testing purpose.

Other than removing the related rpms is there any way to uninstall all those togather?

OS : Vmware 2.4.9-vmnix2 kernel

I can see the following rpms in the server

#rpm -qa | grep hp
hpsmh-2.1.7-168
hprsm-7.7.0-99.vmware2x
hpasm-7.7.0-115.vmware2x

Thanks

Re: Hp tools removal from the server

# rpm -e hpsmh hprsm hpasm

That should remove all 3 in one shot.

Hi,

Do we need to stop the related services before this?

Thanks.
