I have to time sync 4 hp-ux machine.My domain controller is Windows and oracle prod. is running hpux.

Hello:

Configure "xntpd" daemon.

man "xntpd"

Verify /etc/ntp.conf file

Verify /sbin/init.d/xntpd file.

Hi,

You need to use ntp,
must be one server as clock server,need its IP ;

xntpd reads the /etc/ntp.conf configuration file at startup time in order to determine the synchronization sources and operating modes.
Put you clock server IP address at the end of file ;
server YOUR_IP version 3

and start daemon.

check man page of xntpd as advised. .
