Try with another media if problem persist then cnange your CD/DVD ROM Drive.

First check the CD/DVD on windows machine. If its readable on windws machine then there might be problem with CDROM/DVD drive problem on server.

As said you can always cross-check your hardware:
1. Try different CD
2. Try different CD drive
You can test that CD on another system to see if it is working.
