Re: IGNITE C.7.8.201
I have the following HP-UX servers in the DC when I have entered new.. and the previous sys Admin ahs not told me anything...
Server A, B, C. D...... Z
Now I am getting a new server AB... in this same network...
I do not want to do a lanboot..
Now I have make my entries in /erc/bootptab..
Is there a single command to which when given on the server will tell me if it it a client or a server...

Re: IGNITE C.7.8.201
Start the ignite GUI and check if there is a configuration - so you know you found the server.
I would expect the server has some images of clients stored already, check this too.
# ignite
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
