Solution
Hi,
Have you discarded issues with Cable and/or Switch port configuration?
Have you properly configured netmask and gateway in uranus?
Can you ping at yourself (localhost)?
Which are the outputs of these commands from uranus:
#ioscan -fnClan
#ping localhost
#lanscan
#netstat-rn
#traceroute
Rgds.

Re: IP NOT PINGING
Hi,
Hope while doing the installation you have selected all the softwares,It looks like bastille security (sec30) has been enabled.
please run the #bastille -r command to revert back.
If you wants to enable them back run the #bastille command again. It will ask you set of questions, select the appropriate.
Thanks,
Shan.
