If one of the va7x00's controller failed...

There are two hosts and the storage is va7100. Each host has a Fibre

Channel Adapter only. Both hosts connect the va7100's controller by

Direct Fabric Attach without Fibre Switch between them. If one of the

va7100's controller failed under MC/SG environment , what will happen

with the PKG ? failover to another NODE or no ?

Howdy,

Not tried this on the VA's before but i have seen it on the XP512 (similar principle). The pkgs did not fail over automatically. You can configure the FC card as a service and configure "node fast fail" so the node performs a TOC when the card becomes unavailable.
