Re: Ignite Server setup and creating golden image
Basically, to build the golden image, use make_sys_image (you can check the man page). Then include the .tar.gz file in an Ignite configuration file. But you will need to re-read the docs for this, Ignite is fairly well documented.
Included with Ignite is a script called make_media_image which you can use to easily build and image and burn it on DVD -- the method in the script is not identical to what's in the documentation. At the top of the script there are extensive comments that explain how it works.

Re: Ignite Server setup and creating golden image
There are some nice short docs giving you a step-by-step instruction how to do this, but you don't want to get the links, right?
This is not the Ignite manual.
(it's on docs.hp.com)
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Ignite Server setup and creating golden image
Shalom navin,
On the 10 point riduculous scale the request for no links from docs.hp.com scores 12.5.
The docs on this subject are clear and easy to follow and I've used them many times myself.
I will of course respect your request not to post links.
google search
Ignite Golden Image site:docs.hp.com
Now you can find them yourself.
I resisted the urge to cut and paste the docs because I've always had a problem distinguishing the docs that are public from those that requires a software contract to access.
