Ignite: add a new cfg clause

I mistaken done the bellow.

manage_index -d -r B.11.11/23/31

Now my /var/opt/ignite/INDEX is empty.

Now if i try to add a new cfg clause with syntax, "manage_index -a -f config_file -c new_clause_name". then i am getting the error "new_clause_name does not found in index file: /var/opt/ignite/INDEX."

How can i solve this issue? How i can add cfg clause ?

Thank you.

Re: Ignite: add a new cfg clause

you can manually edit the /var/opt/ignite/INDEX using vi.entries are like
cfg "HP-UX B.11.11 archive" {
description "some description of this archive..."
"/opt/ignite/data/Rel_B.11.11/config"
"/var/opt/ignite/data/Rel_B.11.11/core_archive_cfg"
"/var/opt/ignite/config.local"
}

Re: Ignite: add a new cfg clause

Did you try looking on another server that has ignite installed. The file might be in /var/opt/ignite.

If there is an ignite backup. Restore the INDEX file from it.
