Re: Installation Procedure
Put the cdrom into the drive, type in "boot dka400" (if dka400 is your cd-rom drive, check with "show device" first) on SRM console (">>>"). Follow the instructions on screen.
It is as simple as installing an windows machine ;-)

Re: Installation Procedure
Hi Marvin,
If you are looking for documentation to help you get started, I'd reference the Installation Guide and Release Notes found online at ...
http://h30097.www3.hp.com/docs/pub_page/doc_list.html
Here you will find bookshelfs of documentation for specific versions of the operating system. Select the appropriate version for the distribution you have, then under System & Network Management you will find the Installation Guide, Advanced Installation Guide and the Release Notes. The Adv. Install Guide covers more advanced features like RIS (Remote Installation Services), cloning systems, Worldwide Language support, details on planning disk space, and using the Shell during an installation - good for problem recovery.
Hope this helps. If you have more specific questions, fire away!
Regards,
Dave Bechtold
