Installation of hp-ux

I brought one intel lap top
I want to install hp-ux version 11.23
which cd i can use for this installation

But you cannot install HP-UX on your laptop or any other x86 or x64 system.

HP-UX has not and will not install and run on a PC, even though it may hav eIntel chips inside.

To explain.

HP-UX currently runs on PA-RISC processors designed by HP and Itanium processors provided by Intel, only in HP provided hardware.

If the hardware comes from another vendor, the install wont work.

Your laptop's processor can't run HP-UX in any form.

I think you need a test server. For that please vist http://www.testdrive.hp.com/
You will get a server login.

Hi,

Adding to Davis only normal user access will be granted to you for HP's online test servers. You have to raise special request to HP for granting root aceess in that case you must support with strong reason.
