Installing HP-UX 11.31 from the ISO files

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to install a rx2800 from the ISO files that are down loaded from the E-software site. I down loaded the two ISO files and looking to see if rather than creating the two OS dvd's I could just use the ISO files.

System - rx2800

OS - HP-UX 11.31

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can burn them, but you need dual layer discs.

Better use vmedia from ILO.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Thanks Torsten!

Never installed a server that way... How does that work when it asks for the second DVD?
