Is frecover available on an HP workstationruning HP-UX 11.11?

Hi,
We have an N4000 that has been decommissioned due to upgrading our datacenter to HP Proliant Blades and EVA solution, running RHEL 5.0. Backups on the N4000 all have been make using fbackup onto a DLT7000 tape. We need to be able to frecover files from these tapes, if we need to.

Would frecover work if we had an HP workstation (instead of a server) running HP-UX 11.11? Any other ideas would be helpful.

Randy,

Yes, fbackup/frecover was developed by HP as their supported backup solution and was/is available on all HP-UX systems as far as I know. I definitely have it on my workstations.
