Itanium Ignite two step Fibre Channel tape recovery

From what I can tell from researching this, the Itanium Ignite two-step is now supported for Fibre Channel.

Has anyone actually done this, or knows for certain that it is supported, with the configuration:

... BL860c
... FC MSLxxxx library
... 11iv3 DVD boot
... FC tape recovery

Yes, I'm aware of that.
It is an old documnt - 2006.

Also, it says:

"solution on a limited number of Itanium®-based systems such as Fibre
Channel tape drives.
"

Well, that's not very illuminating.
Which systems?
All FC tapes? (probably yes)

I also saw in the Ignite manual a reference to FC tapes, but again no specifics.
