Itanium enviroment issue

I've just created a new user and their default shell is csh. When I log in as that user the @ key does not work, but if I login as root and then su - the user the @ key works fine. Can someone tell me what I'm missing?

This is not happening on Solaris or AIX

stty echoe

[13] % ls -al csh*

Re: Itanium enviroment issue

The default for kill is "@" and erase is "#".
(That's why you can't use them in passwords without quoting.)

(Any reason the user wants to use the scummy C shell vs a real shell?)

Hi Sharma,

>>> @ is working for me in Password :-)?

==> I├в ve deploy my test server above key (@), some time it is work and some it does not.

So, my opinions do not take any risk in Ur system.
