JDK6 on HP UX ITANIUM

 

 

Hi All,
Recently installed JDK 6 in my HP UX 11.3i Itanium  system. After installation, while checking its throwing the below error.

Error:

/usr/lib/dld.sl: Can't find path for shared library: libjli.sl
/usr/lib/dld.sl: No such file or directory
[HP ARIES32]: Error occured while writing core file for 32-bit
[HP ARIES32]: PA-RISC application /opt/java6/bin/java (got signal 6).
[HP ARIES32]: Core file may not be correct.
Abort

If any one have the solution, kindly share.

seems that you are using PA-RISC binary

try downloading IA version of JDK

 

and as usual, try google first ;-)  there are tons of articles on this subject

Yes, the java driver is PA, even on IPF.

I find mine in:

/opt/java6/jre/lib/PA_RISC2.0/jli/libjli.sl
