Jet Admin Utility (Rev. D.06.21

If a printer has been setup via JetAdmin, is being moved from building to building needing a new IP Address, can it be deleted from local spooler and the configuration removed from BOOTP/TFTP through JetAdmin without the Jet Direct/printer being hooked up to network?

Hi,

I'm not shure if you know, that the current version of JetPrint is E.10.34 - D6.21 is net even Y2K compliant.

FYI,

The Jetdirect software has long been obsoleted and replaced with
J4189-11001C E.10.34 Hewlett-Packard JetDirect Printer Installer for Unix

To remove configs you can use the old jetadmin utility to delete the config or do it manually.

edit /etc/bootptab and
lpadmin -x
