Keyboard problems when booting in single user mode

I am trying to boot my A CLASS machine in single user mode running HP-UX, after I get boot is complete and I get the shell prompt on the console and the keyboard stops responding on the console, how do i fix this, I dont face this problem while booting in multi-user mode.
I am using HP-UX 11.0

Hi,

I've seen this on N and L boxes so I think the fix is the same. Edit root's .profile and add a
'stty cread' command to enable the receiver and then boot the machine. Man stty to see what this command does.
