LINUX OS Boot-up conflict with Powerpath and qla scsci card
Hi all need your expertise and help very badly!
PROBLEM: OS wont Boot-up after reboot
SET-UP:
OS - RHEL 4.8 32-bit
Kernel - 2.6.9-89.ELsmp
Software installed - EMCpower.LINUX-5.3.1.00.00-111
FC SCSCI CARD - MODEL = QLE2460; DRIVER = 8.02.09.02.04.08-d
I am using CX4 as storage for this system.
Using FC cable, LC to LC connection.
Using powerpath for multipathing.
All LUNS were bind to this.
But when I reboot, it seems to hang and always going back to UITI then scanning adaptors again....
Does anyone of you encountered this and what is the best and safest way to resolve this?
Thanks!

Re: LINUX OS Boot-up conflict with Powerpath and qla scsci card
By the way, what we do is pull the fc card then restart the system just to continue on OS booting.
