Linux RHEL5.4 running 10GB Fibre Ethernet Cards
We are not getting the throughput we expect and we are wondering if anyone has a similar environment where the 10GB cards are working well?

Re: Linux RHEL5.4 running 10GB Fibre Ethernet Cards
we run the same server on win2008 (but no 10Gb ethernet). No issues.
Could you describe your issues deeply?

Re: Linux RHEL5.4 running 10GB Fibre Ethernet Cards
Everything I have read says that Red Hat has no drivers for this card.
Ping HP for drivers. They are at the moment your only hope.

Re: Linux RHEL5.4 running 10GB Fibre Ethernet Cards
You might look to search engines for starting tunables specific to your driver, but it'll take some testing to get things right (depending on your workload, memory constraints, overall network health, etc.)
Unfortunately, I don't have any samples saved off, but the default network stack on Redhat is *not* tuned for performance, so it can help to roll your own tuning.
