Load Driver from USB Flash

Hi all,
I need to install redhat 3U5 on BL680c
I know its not listed on hp site.
I download the cciss driver for redhat 4
My Question is:
is it possible to load the driver from usb using
linux updates dd
CUZ I dont have floppy drive.

Second Question.
I have many processes from my application
start with assigned terminal pts/ttyxx
then it changed to ?

Re: Load Driver from USB Flash

1) Yes, the device will be a disk like /dev/sda1.

2) I don't understand.

Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

Re: Load Driver from USB Flash

I already download the image
and
dd ifcpq_cciss-2.6.20-23.rhel4.i686.dd of=/dev/sda

When linux start
I type
: linux updates dd
but it goes directly to /dev/scd0
I cant use /dev/sda

Actualy I have application runs properly on
Redhat 3U5, I installed on new blade BL680c
redhat 4U6 but after 1 hour the 16G memory reserved by the application processes.
mean while the application is not supposed to
run this huge number of processes.
I found that a process runs with correct tty ex: pts/tty20 at the begining and after a while the tty changes to question mark ( ? )
