Logon script delay

Hi,

When I try to log on to the UNIX application, using reflection. I have to press ENTER key many times until the application loaded and displayed.

Hi,

Ping is replying with time <1ms and TTL=253,
but it shows time > 1ms in some intervals.

Re: Logon script delay

Hi,

Do you have such a delay only with reflection ? What do you have when you log in via command window and telnet ? Do you get the delay for all users including root ?
In any case check location of $HISTFILE. If the file there is on NFS, redefine it to a local file system as
export HISTFILE=/tmp/hist$LOGNAME

Re: Logon script delay

Hi,

The command to start the application is associated with Carriage Return variable.

This why, I have to press ENTER key many times. WHY?!
