Logs on backup trough SAM

Hi !
i have taken backup trough SAM on DDS4 tape.
where the logs stores by which i can ensure that the backup is completed successfully or not? can we see the contents of backup in log.

Hi Sarfaraj Ahmad,

Location of SAM log is /var/sam/log/samlog.

You can run the below command to view the samlog

#/usr/sam/bin/samlog_viewer

and by below fils

/var/sam/log/br_log
/var/sam/log/samlog
