Looking for the reporting - monitoring tool

Looking for the reporting - monitoring tool.

Monitoring limited number of aspects of a large number of identical devices.

Over 300 sites with the Windows 2003 R2


Bandwidth limitation: 56k modem connection.

Right now evaluating Ganglia, Openview, SiteScope, Nagios, GroundWork tool.

Any help is appreciated

What about Tivoli and Computer Associates?

What is true, is that on all monitoring software, you have a lot of manual work. If your site is so big as you say, then probably and open source monitoring software will reduce a lot the costs. We use nagios an is able to meet all our needs.

if you're using linux i recommend collectd;

We're also using Nagios to monitor all of our servers included AIX,Linux,Windows.
It is really a great tool for IT administrators.
