Lost Luns after power failure.
Hi all
After a power failure on an eva 3000 & two rp3440 servers in a service guard cluster, one node is fully functional but the other can only see two of the seven luns in the ioscan -fnCdisk. After the ioscan -fn all of the luns are visible with there WWN & label of hsv100 but only two have the class of disk. If I present new luns to the server they are visible in ioscan -fnCdisk but I can't see the five additional luns that the primary node can.
At the moment the idea is to recover from ignite backup but I would prefer to rectify the problem some other way.
Thanks.

Re: Lost Luns after power failure.
- Can you share the ioscan output from the two rp3440 ?
- What is the version of HP-UX on these rp3440 ?
- How are the rp3440 and EVA3k connected ?

Re: Lost Luns after power failure.
Hi,
The version of hpux is 11.11. The servers & eva are fabric attached via 2 brocade switches & port zoned using securepath.
Please find the ioscan attached, both ioscan are in the same document.

Re: Lost Luns after power failure.
Ok I resolved the issue by recovery from ignite tape, everything is now fine & all luns are available.
